SKF PCMW 487402 E axial sliding ring, steel-PTFE

PCMW 487402 E is an axial sliding ring made of steel sheet with a PTFE working layer. The rings have high load capacity, very low friction, high sliding speed, and operate in a wide temperature range from -200 °C to +250 °C. They are suitable for operating conditions with high loads requiring maintenance-free operation. The sliding layer based on PTFE partially transfers to the opposite surface after a short run-in, creating a physically bound sliding film. However, regular lubrication improves performance and extends their lifespan.
