Fastening
For fastening bearings, bushings, and other cylindrical components, such as on shafts, use Loctite products, which are market leaders. They ensure maximum load accuracy and uniform stress distribution, as well as eliminate fretting corrosion. To bond fitted cylindrical components, use Loctite 620, or Loctite 648, which also prevents loosening or leakage of the joint after curing – for larger gaps up to 0.25 mm, Loctite 638 is intended. However, be cautious of contaminants; if you cannot guarantee sufficient surface cleanliness, opt for Loctite 603, which is suitable for dirty conditions.
