SKF 608-2RSL Ball Bearing

SKF Explorer bearing 608 2RSL - non-disassemblable single-row radial ball bearing with a steel cage guided by balls with double-sided sealing, low friction, and normal radial clearance. The seals of bearing 608 are made of oil-resistant and wear-resistant rubber, which is vulcanized onto a metal reinforcement and is pressed into notches in the outer ring. Between the sealing edge and the surface of the inner ring, there is a very narrow gap, essentially creating a non-contact seal. Bearings can operate at the same speeds as bearings with cover plates but with significantly higher sealing effectiveness. The 608-2RSL bearing is filled with high-quality lubricant with a temperature range from -40°C to +100°C for the entire lifespan of the bearing. SKF 608 Explorer class bearings represent a new group of high-performance rolling bearings, offering a significant increase in key operational parameters such as noise, vibration, heat generation, operational reliability, dynamic load capacity, and are manufactured with higher precision than normal. The dimensional accuracy corresponds to the precision class P6.
