Sealing of pipe threads does not always have to be high-pressure. For example, Loctite SI 5331 – 100 ml is a great sealant for all low-pressure plastic piping systems, especially for hot and cold water distribution. The liquid sealant for plastic threads cures at normal ambient temperature and humidity. The result is sealing of low-pressure systems using a flexible sealant. One of the advantages of Loctite SI 5331 – 100 ml is that it is very easy to handle when applying the liquid sealant, as it does not run off the surface. It seals immediately shortly after application, but can withstand maximum load only after curing.
