Loctite 7386 is a solvent-based activator (thinner activator) designed to initiate the curing of tough acrylic adhesives. Loctite 7386 is used as a special activator for Loctite adhesives 3298 and 330.
Usually, it is sufficient to apply it to only one of the bonded surfaces in a thin layer (the adhesive is applied to the other surface). However, if the gap is greater than 0.4 mm, it is advisable to apply the activator to both surfaces and the adhesive to one of them.
