Loctite 245 - 250 ml, medium strength

Threadlockers in threaded joints are products that secure screws against spontaneous loosening. This phenomenon most often occurs due to vibrations and shocks. The liquid threadlocker Loctite 245 is applied directly into the thread, where it gradually cures in the gap between the screw and the thread without access to air. After curing, it provides medium strength protection by bonding these components together. An advantage is that Loctite 245 can also be used in high-temperature environments up to 150 °C. Loctite 245 is more suitable for larger threads. We definitely recommend using this threadlocker where you need to disassemble the joint manually from time to time, as the medium strength of the locking is appropriate for that.
