Loctite 243 - 250 ml, medium strength

Loctite 243 is an effective thread locker that cures in the gap between two metal surfaces, without access to air. Once cured, it secures threaded connections while also sealing them. Although the thread locker is resistant after curing and prevents both joint cracking and loosening or seepage, it can still be relatively easily disassembled using hand tools, for example during regular inspections. Its composition is more suitable for less active surfaces, such as stainless steel or plated surfaces. A significant advantage is its thixotropic nature, which prevents the Loctite 243 from running after application. The thermal resistance of the locker is up to 180 °C.
