SKF PCM 12012560 E sliding bearing, steel-PTFE

PCM 12012560 E is a sliding bearing rolled from steel sheet with a Teflon working layer of PTFE applied. The bearings have high load capacity, very low friction, high sliding speed, and operate over a wide temperature range from -200 °C to +250 °C. They are suitable for operating conditions with high loads requiring maintenance-free operation. The sliding layer of the bearing based on PTFE partially transfers to the opposite surface after a short run-in, creating a physically bound sliding film. However, regular lubrication improves their performance and extends their lifespan.
