SKF 6218-2Z Ball Bearing

SKF Explorer bearing 6218 2Z - non-disassemblable single-row radial ball bearing with a steel cage guided by balls, featuring non-contact metal seals on both sides and normal radial clearance. The cover plates of the 6218-2Z bearing are pressed into grooves on the outer ring and fit against the smooth inner ring. The 6218 2Z bearing is designed for mounting with a rotating inner ring and is filled with high-quality grease with a temperature range from -40°C to +100°C for the entire service life of the bearing. If the outer ring rotates, grease leakage may occur at higher speeds. SKF 6218-2Z Explorer class bearings represent a new group of high-performance rolling bearings, offering a significant increase in key operating parameters such as noise, vibration, heat generation, operational reliability, dynamic load capacity, and are manufactured with higher precision than standard bearings. The dimensional accuracy corresponds to the P6 accuracy class.
