Description
Loctite 7091 is designed for use with Loctite anaerobic adhesives for challenging bonding of galvanized or zinc-coated steel surfaces and applications where large gaps are present. These can accommodate larger amounts of adhesive, and without the Loctite 7091 activator, curing would occur very slowly.
The Loctite 7091 primer provides excellent treatment of metal surfaces and offers a range of improvements in steel bonding:
- UV light detection capability
- Curing at low temperatures (< 5 °C)
- Accelerated curing on passive and inactive surfaces
- Faster curing when bonding surfaces with large gaps
- Primer for galvanized steel, galvanized and chrome-plated surfaces
