LOCTITE LB 8013 - 454 G ANTI-SEIZE N-7000 LUBRICANT

Loctite 8013 is a specially developed anti-seize lubricant manufactured under 100% controlled conditions for maximum purity, which contains no metals. It contains only trace amounts of halogen elements, sulfur, copper, aluminum, and heavy metals. Developed to protect steel, stainless steel, and other proprietary alloys. During assembly, it protects against high friction, seizing, and galling, and supports uniform and predictable tightening.

During operation, the high purity of Loctite 8013 protects against stress corrosion. During disassembly, it prevents galling, seizing, and damage to threads. It provides a significant increase in sliding properties and gives much more uniform torque stress. Typical applications include bolts, fittings, studs, pipe fittings, sliding bearings, and pressed bearings in nuclear power plants, pharmaceutical and chemical operations, paper mills, and other places where stainless steel joints are used.

Instructions for use:

1. Before or during assembly, apply or brush the product onto threads and other connections that require protection.
2. Use at full strength. Do not dilute.

The anti-seize lubricant used on bolts helps achieve greater clamping force at the same torque compared to unlubricated bolts. Another advantage is greater uniformity of clamping force in sets of bolts.
