The two-component epoxy adhesive Loctite EA 9497 can be used wherever you want to dissipate heat or in high-temperature environments, as it withstands temperatures up to 180 °C. It is suitable for bonding and filling joints in direct contact with this temperature. Its high thermal conductivity and resistance, as well as high compressive strength, make this adhesive ideal for repairs of hot water pipes, steam pipes, and similar applications. Handling during bonding is very good; due to its medium viscosity, the adhesive does not drip unnecessarily from the bonded parts.
