Like other repair metals, Loctite EA 3471 is a liquid metal primarily used for the reconstruction of mechanically damaged parts and components, most often due to impact or mechanical wear. The steel-filled metal Loctite EA 3471 is based on a two-component epoxy and features almost universal application. We recommend it for sealing various cracks, especially in tanks, containers, and similar cases. Loctite EA 3471 can also be used for repairs of deformations caused by cavitation or corrosion. Handling strength is achieved in approximately 180 minutes. It is recommended to use it in a temperature range from -20 °C to +120 °C.
