The strength acrylic adhesive Loctite AA 317 is a unique adhesive that cures only when exposed to most types of UV radiation. It is used wherever quick curing of the bond is needed; Loctite AA 317 cures into a thermoset plastic immediately within a few seconds after exposure to UV radiation. It reaches handling strength in about a minute. This allows for very quick handling and application, but it is really suitable for small gaps. You can use it for stitching, encapsulating, or sealing. An advantage is that after curing, the bond is colorless, making it suitable for visible joints as well. It withstands temperatures up to 120 °C.
