Special UV adhesive cures with light and offers very good bonding properties. Compared to other adhesives, Loctite AA 3011 has a unique ISO 10993 certification, allowing it to be used in contact with medical materials. It is primarily used for bonding plastics to metal substrates, typically in disposable medical materials. It features a very low viscosity, ideal for capillary action of the adhesive into the gap of pre-constructed components. It is also used wherever an extremely tight connection of both surfaces in the joint is required. After curing, the bond is mostly transparent, sometimes light amber. It withstands temperatures up to +100 °C.
