Loctite 5776 is a medium-strength thread sealant approved by DVGW (EN 751-1) and KTW, specially developed for metal pipe parts and fittings with fine and coarse threads up to a maximum size of M80 / R3. This thread sealant has a thixotropic character and allows for easy, quick, and reliable sealing of metal threaded connections.

Description
Loctite 5776 has been specially developed as a sealing thread adhesive for drinking water, heating, and gas:
- TUV systems, metal heating systems with water,
- gas distribution and gas appliances, metal distribution of cold drinking water and hot water up to 60 °C.
The sealing on metal pipes Loctite 5776 has limited flow after application and cures
only in the absence of air and prevents the loosening or leaking of the joint. It does not release any particles into the pipeline and provides permanent protection against corrosion.
