Loctite 573 - 250ml, flat gasket

Loctite 573 is a flat gasket suitable for use especially where a long curing time and installation time are advantageous, particularly for difficult-to-assemble parts. Once cured without air access in the joint between bonded metal surfaces, Loctite 573 achieves medium strength and prevents the leakage of liquids and gases. A significant advantage is that this gasket prevents direct contact between flanged metal surfaces, thus avoiding contact corrosion. Additionally, its thixotropic nature prevents it from running off the application site. We recommend using Loctite 573 as a locally created gasket primarily on rigid flanged joints, typically on gearboxes, engine housings, and similar applications.
