Loctite 567 is a special high-viscosity acrylic sealant for tapered (conical) threads of metal pipes and fittings (e.g., made of stainless steel, aluminum) up to thread size M80. This product is a smooth gray paste with low strength that cures without access to air in the joint, resists vibrations and shocks, and prevents loosening or leakage of the joint.
Usage:
- sealing coarse threads in refineries,
- securing tapered threads in chemical production,
- thread sealing for hydraulic industrial systems,
- high self-lubricating ability prevents thread seizing,
- sealing compressed gas distribution and other industrial distributions.
Excellent resistance to solvents and temperature resistance up to 150 °C makes Loctite 567 an excellent product for use in the automotive industry, shipbuilding, industrial equipment manufacturing, and other demanding industrial applications.
