The Loctite 510 flat gasket provides perfect sealing primarily between metal parts with minimal contact of flange surfaces. It creates a sealed barrier, a joint that retains both liquids and gases. Additionally, Loctite 510 prevents contact corrosion that would otherwise occur at the joint of both flange surfaces. The Loctite 510 flat gasket is particularly useful for general sealing in both industrial and household applications. The sealant can be applied manually, but it is also suitable for screen printing. It cures in the gap between two metal flange surfaces and achieves medium strength but high heat resistance up to 200 °C. Overall, Loctite 510 is a suitable sealant for mechanical repairs and flange sealing.
