Description
The Loctite 3038 acrylic adhesive is used for bonding difficult-to-bond materials, especially LDPE and HDPE plastics. It can also be used for bonding coated metals (ECS) to glass fiber-filled polypropylene (PPGF). The adhesive creates a high-strength structural bond with high resistance and excellent adhesion. Loctite 3038 thus fully replaces other traditional mechanical joints. An advantage is that you do not need to treat the surfaces before bonding; the adhesive adheres well under normal conditions. Due to its thixotropic nature, it does not run off the application site after application. The adhesive contains a small filler of 0.25 mm size to ensure a minimal gap.
