Loctite 290 - 250 ml, medium strength

Loctite 290 is an anaerobic adhesive with medium to high strength, primarily used to secure threaded connections against spontaneous loosening. This often occurs due to vibrations and shocks or other mechanical influences. Loctite 290 is applied directly into the thread, where it cures without air access, creating a medium strength locking effect upon curing. It also prevents contact corrosion that occurs when two metals are in contact. The use of Loctite 290 is mainly for various screws of devices, electrical connectors, adjustment screws, and similar applications. The product also has increased temperature resistance, up to 150 °C.
