Loctite 248 - 9 g Thread Locking Adhesive Stick

Loctite 248 is a medium-strength anaerobic thread locking adhesive for large threads and screws, supplied as a semi-solid application stick (similar to wax). For this reason, Loctite 248 is ideal in cases where liquid thread lockers are too runny, drip from components, or are difficult to apply.
The anaerobic stick allows direct contact with the material during application, ensuring an even distribution of adhesive on threaded parts. Like liquid thread adhesives, Loctite 248 cures in the absence of air in the closed joint between metal surfaces of the threads. It achieves the same strength as liquid products in the Loctite adhesive range, plus offers many advantages:
· easy application with the stick,
· non-dripping thread locking adhesive,
· medium-strength locking and sealing of threads,
· anaerobic curing without air access,
· universal use on various metal materials,
· excellent adhesive for large threaded joints and screws up to M50,
We recommend:
Before applying Loctite 248, we recommend cleaning the components first with Loctite 7063 or Loctite 7061 cleaner. At temperatures below 5°C, use an activator beforehand. In rare cases, use local heating on the nut or screw to a temperature of approximately 250 °C for disassembly.
